The Inventory Manager at Hyper Solutions will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of inventory management across Hyper's manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and satellite partner locations. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing inventory investment, improving material visibility, and establishing standardized inventory control processes that support Hyper's rapid growth.
The successful candidate will own Hyper's inventory control programs, including cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory discrepancy resolution, inventory projections, and enterprise inventory reporting. This individual will partner closely with Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and external partners to ensure inventory supports production schedules and customer commitments.
As the owner of the Inventory component of Hyper's Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, this role will develop inventory projections, evaluate inventory health, identify future risks and opportunities, and provide leadership with data-driven recommendations that optimize working capital while maintaining industry-leading customer service.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve Hyper's enterprise inventory management strategy across all internal facilities, warehouses, and satellite partner locations
- Develop standardized inventory control processes that improve inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and material visibility
- Oversee daily inventory operations, including inventory transactions, adjustments, warehouse transfers, cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory disposition activities
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately processed and maintained within NetSuite
- Monitor inventory health to proactively identify shortages, excess inventory, obsolete inventory, aging inventory, and inventory risks
- Drive improvements in inventory accuracy while optimizing inventory investment and working capital
- Own the inventory planning component of Hyper's monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
- Develop inventory projections using sales forecasts, production schedules, supplier lead times, safety stock strategies, demand variability, and capacity constraints
- Analyze future inventory positions to identify material shortages, excess inventory, inventory imbalances, capacity constraints, and supply risks
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Production Planning, Engineering, and Finance to align inventory investments with business objectives
- Present inventory projections, inventory health, inventory risks, and mitigation strategies during executive SIOP reviews
- Recommend inventory policy changes that improve service levels while reducing working capital
Additional Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, production ramps, and long-lead material planning through proactive inventory analysis
- Develop executive dashboards that communicate inventory performance and future inventory outlook
- Own Hyper's enterprise cycle count program across all warehouses and satellite locations
- Manage training of satellite locations on cycle count programs and inventory control processes
- Develop ABC inventory classifications and cycle count schedules
- Coordinate annual physical inventories and support financial inventory audits
- Lead investigations into inventory discrepancies utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies
- Develop sustainable corrective actions that eliminate recurring inventory issues
- Lead Lean inventory management initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement standardized inventory processes, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
- Lead Kaizen events focused on inventory management and warehouse performance
- Continuously improve inventory forecasting methodologies using historical demand, supplier performance, production capacity, and inventory trends
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve inventory visibility, automation, and transaction accuracy
- Serve as the business owner for inventory-related NetSuite functionality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with NetSuite Administrators to improve inventory workflows, controls, reporting, and master data integrity
- Develop dashboards and KPI reporting that provide actionable inventory insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping, and external partners to improve inventory flow and execution

- Partnering with Operations, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance to support production schedules and customer commitments
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting within NetSuite
- Building dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports that support inventory decision-making
- Leading process improvement initiatives that improve inventory visibility and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or supply chain
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, inventory planning, cycle counting, manufacturing operations, and ERP systems
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
Preferred
- Experience within electrical infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, engineered-to-order, or data center industries
- Experience implementing inventory control programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
- Understanding of inventory costing, financial controls, and working capital management
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification

Compensation
The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $105,000 - $125,000 per year plus bonus. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include, but are not limited to, relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
