Role Summary The investment analyst is responsible for fundamental analysis of a specific industry or sector to identify investible ideas for various portfolio strategies. Responsible for looking at both primary and secondary transactions. Responsibilities Involves interviews of company executives and management teams, competitors, suppliers, etc., as well as industry experts and Wall Street analysts Collaborate with other teams and Portfolio Managers via internal meetings Possible travel and industry conference attendance Qualifications Required: MBA or at least 3 years of equity research experience Preferred: Strong background in finance and accounting Proficiency in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint Good communication skills, both verbal and written Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work In addition to the qualities outlined above, intellectual curiosity and a disciplined approach to analysis are very important traits. FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home. Base Salary Ranges Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity. $180,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $180,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $180,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: New York, California Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role . Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package . Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
