IP Law Specialist

We're looking for an experienced IP Specialist to join the Anaqua Law team. In this role, you'll become an expert in our AQX law engine, playing a critical part in keeping this platform's legal data accurate and up to date for customers worldwide. You’ll love this job if you like to: Learn and master all aspects of Anaqua's law engine, which powers IP deadline calculations, workflows, and legal rules used by customers worldwide Conduct legal research to support quarterly law updates, capturing rule changes across all IP types and jurisdictions globally Provide backup coverage across all stages of the quarterly law update process Assist with a variety of law-related projects, including research, analysis, and ad hoc tasks as needed What you’ll need to be successful: Bachelor’s Degree & 2-3 years of recent, hands-on IP paralegal or docketing experience spanning the full IP lifecycle — from filing through to maintenance and abandonment — across Patents, Industrial Designs, and Trademarks in multiple jurisdictions worldwide Strong analytical skills and the confidence to set priorities, exercise sound independent judgement, and take ownership of your work The ability to interpret, analyze, and clearly communicate complex IP laws and regulations to a variety of audiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel A highly organized, self-motivated working style with a track record of consistently meeting deadlines Bonus points for: Direct experience using Anaqua’s AQX software
