What you will do Accurately perform prescription data entry Build and maintain accurate medication profiles and MARs (Medication Administration Records) for IPU patients Understand and apply IPU model variations and profiling requirements for hospice partners Review and process faxed medication orders independently, ensuring timely follow-up where needed Contact hospices to obtain or clarify prescription information and document interactions Maintain accurate and precise call log documentation for all interactions Coordinate with local pharmacies on claim adjudication for emergency needs What we look for Current PA or TN Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing preferred 2+ years of pharmacy technician data entry experience; managed care or PBM experience preferred Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design, formularies, and claim adjudication Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service delivery Ability to balance efficiency, accuracy, and patient satisfaction High School Diploma or equivalent Why IPU Technicians are important Our Pharmacy Technicians are the bridge between members, providers, and pharmacists.
