About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Compliance Manager to join a global team responsible for IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance. In this role, you will partner with IT leaders, auditors, and security teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on SAP environments and IT General Controls (ITGC).

Responsibilities:

• Advise IT Management on addressing the risks facing their IT systems and data ( and a focus on financial statement risks for ICFR)
• Design and implement IT General Controls and related monitoring processes
• Onboard new systems and control owners, to ensure they are fully trained in the Roche risk/control requirements and aware of their responsibilities in managing this
• Act as a liaison between IT Management and auditors to discuss control gaps and provide effective explanations to support this
• Help develop action plans with IT Management and oversee that those actions are being implemented timely and effectively
• Provide periodic reporting to management with testing results, remediation progress etc
• Identify areas for improvement, to simplify and automate control activities and help ensure ICFR requirements are embedded into new tools and processes
• Be a trusted partner for teams and stakeholders throughout the organization, including but not limited to - Group Audit and Risk Advisory, Global IT Security

The Ideal Candidate:

Is an experienced consultant that communicates concisely and clearly and can translate audit requirements and methodologies into simple guidelines for IT Management and support teams. Has demonstrated ability to navigate complexity, is pragmatic and sees the big picture, and is able to impact the business value stream in a large global organization. Establishes strong relationships and manages stakeholders across the globe. Is able to negotiate and influence auditors and senior management.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Informatics, Business Administration or equivalent. MA or MS is desirable.
• 8+ years of experience in a consulting or audit role with focus on IT General Controls
• Deep understanding of SAP Access management and tools e.g. SAP GRC
• Ability to convey complex IT and compliance requirements into clear messages for non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage IT Managers and Support teams from multicultural backgrounds
• Proven skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, customer-focus, decision-making, and problem solving
