As an IT Linux System Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, administration, and lifecycle management of enterprise Linux platforms across data centers and supported locations. You will ensure the stability, availability, performance, and compliance of Linux-based infrastructure supporting business-critical services. In this role, you will drive automation initiatives, manage operating system lifecycle and patching processes, maintain standardized system images, and continuously improve the reliability and security of the Linux environment. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions aligned with corporate and IT service management standards. Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Linux environments across data centers and distributed sites. Ensure the availability, performance, security, and operational integrity of Linux systems supporting critical business services. Lead operating system lifecycle, patch, and vulnerability management activities using enterprise automation and management platforms. Design, build, and maintain standardized Linux server images, provisioning workflows, and configuration management processes utilizing tools such as Orcharhino, Puppet, and Ansible. Implement and maintain infrastructure automation to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and service reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex operating system, middleware, networking, and infrastructure issues in multi-tier enterprise environments. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge articles. Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities in accordance with ITIL best practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams to successfully deliver infrastructure initiatives and operational improvements. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Linux systems in enterprise or data center environments. Strong expertise with enterprise Linux distributions Oracle, Suse, Ubuntu Hands-on experience with system provisioning, patch management, and configuration management platforms. Practical knowledge of Orcharhino, Puppet, Ansible, or comparable automation frameworks. Solid understanding of networking concepts, storage technologies, virtualization, and infrastructure services. Familiarity with ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams #LI-AR1
