IT Operations Engineer Location: Antwerp or Amsterdam Experience: 5-7 years overall experience, including 3+ years administrating complex Google Workspace and GCP environments Own cloud IT operations and help drive scalable, secure, and high-performing internal systems. You’ll balance hands-on engineering with shared support responsibilities—designing and improving systems while staying close to end-user needs and outcomes. You’ll also navigate and influence cross-functional stakeholders, aligning different perspectives into clear, actionable solutions. What you’ll bring You bring 5–7 years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in complex Google Workspace and GCP environments Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Workspace administration (identity, access, security, automation) and GCP Experience operating in complex, multi-tool SaaS environments Proven ability to manage and deliver IT projects end-to-end, including vendor management and procurement Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and capabilities Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and aligning different opinions, needs, and expectations Excellent people skills — approachable, empathetic, and a strong listener Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on end-user experience You balance engineering depth with a willingness to stay hands-on in support when needed You adapt quickly and don’t get frustrated when requirements evolve or change You’re comfortable operating in environments that aren’t fully structured or where best practices are still evolving You work independently and know when to involve others You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity You know when work is ready to ship, and when it can evolve You want your work to matter, not just exist Loop isn’t for everyone.
