IT Project Manager

Our client, a global technology company specializing in smart infrastructure and utility solutions, is seeking an IT Project Manager to join its team. The role is remote, based in Athens, with occasional on-site visits to client locations.

The Role

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT projects across the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role acts as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving projects from initiation through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects from initiation to closure
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Manage project budgets and track expenses against approved plans
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating as needed
• Prepare and present regular status reports to management and stakeholders
• Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and organizational governance
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units
• Travel occasionally to client sites for meetings and project reviews

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice to Have

• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
• Background in the technology, utilities, or infrastructure sector
