For our client, a leading private bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Lead (a) to drive strategic infrastructure and cyber security initiatives from planning through successful delivery.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic infrastructure and cyber security projects
• Manage the evaluation and selection process for a cloud-based WAAP solution
• Coordinate and oversee a Proof of Concept (PoC) to migrate from appliance-based WAF infrastructure to a Kubernetes-based deployment model
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and project deliverables
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, security, application and business areas
• Manage external vendors, service providers and implementation partners
• Prepare management reports, steering committee presentations and decision papers
• Ensure delivery according to agreed scope, quality, budget and timeline objectives
• Support strategic decision-making regarding the future web application security platform
Your Profile
• Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure, cloud and cyber security projects within large enterprise environments
• Strong project management expertise covering planning, governance, execution and delivery management
• Experience managing technology assessments, Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and implementation programmes
• Solid understanding of web application security technologies
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF), API Security and cloud-native security solutions
• Familiarity with container platforms and Kubernetes-based architectures
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage workstream dependencies
• Strong vendor and service provider management experience
• Experience preparing executive management reports and steering committee materials
• Excellent risk, issue, budget and timeline management skills
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, IPMA Level C/B or equivalent practical experience
