Currently, for the new Seargin project we are looking for IT Security Specialist.

Location: Remote from Poland

Employment Type: B2B or Employment Contract

FTE: Full-time

This role is primarily focused on coordination, governance, and oversight rather than hands-on technical execution. The Security Specialist ensures that activities are progressing as planned by driving accountability, facilitating communication, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Experience working within a SOX compliance and/or IT General Controls (ITGC) environment.
• Experience working with financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms or other enterprise financial applications).
• Strong coordination, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to effectively monitor progress, follow up on actions, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Comfortable working in a coordination and oversight role where success depends on collaborating with and relying on others rather than performing hands-on technical execution.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive accountability and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to review and validate security findings without performing deep technical analysis.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
• Experience in Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Security Operations.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, audit processes, and risk management practices.
• Experience supporting security compliance initiatives in a global organization.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the progress and status of assigned security-related activities and initiatives.
• Track deliverables, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions.
• Review and validate security findings to confirm completeness and accuracy (without performing in-depth technical analysis).
• Escalate issues, risks, or decision points to the appropriate subject matter experts or management when specialized expertise or action is required.
• Act as a key coordinator and trusted support function for the Security Manager by providing visibility into ongoing activities and ensuring effective execution.
