This includes on-prem and cloud services. We are currently in need of an IT Senior System Administrator (Local WFH) to join our Professional Services team. This is a work from home role but the IT Senior System Administrator (Local WFH) must live within 35 miles of Katy, TX. The IT Senior System Administrator (Local WFH) is responsible for the planning, testing, implementation, and documentation of small to large projects and deployments for new and existing customer base. This position is ideal for a hands-on, well-rounded engineer who desires to be involved in all aspects of the IT field. The position requires strong resource and time management skills for projects, systems analysis, systems design, systems implementation, and systems support. The IT Senior System Administrator (Local WFH) will need to be self-motivated, detail and process-oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have solid problem solving/troubleshooting abilities. IT Senior System Administrator (Local WFH) Responsibilities: Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure, SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL etc. Support services for virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft IT Support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure. Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security Administer hosted and cloud solutions for customers using technologies that meet their requirements. Advanced support and implementation of our backup and disaster recovery solutions Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets. Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review. Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. IT Senior System Administrator (Local WFH) Technical Must-Haves: Strong Microsoft Azure experience. Strong Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint experience. Strong Microsoft server and domain experience.
