A Global Insurance firm is seeking an IT Strategist to support the development and execution of its IT strategy, technology roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives.

This role sits within the IT Planning & Promotion Department and works closely with senior IT leaders, business departments, stakeholders, and external vendors.

The position is not purely coordination-focused. The successful candidate will be expected to identify business and IT challenges, develop appropriate solutions, support management-level decision making, and help shape medium- to long-term IT strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, manage, and monitor medium- to long-term IT strategies and technology roadmaps

- Create system and technology plans aligned with business priorities

- Research IT and technology trends, particularly within the insurance industry

- Develop and manage IT project portfolios and transformation initiatives

- Collaborate with business teams, IT departments, and Group Office to select appropriate technology solutions

- Create implementation plans and prepare proposals for senior management

- Identify challenges across the IT organization and develop improvement initiatives

- Collect and analyze data related to IT projects, investments, and performance

- Measure the expected and actual effectiveness of IT projects and initiatives

- Support special strategic initiatives requested by the CTO

Required Skills:

- 7+ years of IT experience within the financial services industry, including IT planning, strategy, system development, or related areas

- Strong stakeholder management and proactive communication skills

- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills

- Experience using Excel functions and PivotTables for reporting and analysis

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work across business, technology, and management stakeholders

- High learning agility and willingness to take ownership of new challenges

本ポジションは、IT企画・推進部門に所属し、IT部門のシニアリーダー、各事業部門、社内外のステークホルダー、外部ベンダーと密接に連携します。単なる調整・コーディネーション業務にとどまらず、ビジネスおよびIT上の課題を自ら特定し、適切な解決策を企画・立案するとともに、経営層の意思決定を支援し、中長期的なIT戦略の方向性を形作っていくことが期待されるポジションです。

業務内容

- 中長期的なIT戦略およびテクノロジーロードマップの策定、管理、モニタリング

- ビジネス上の優先事項に沿ったシステム・テクノロジー計画の策定

- 特に保険業界におけるIT・テクノロジーの最新動向の調査

- ITプロジェクトポートフォリオおよびDX・トランスフォーメーション施策の企画・管理

- 事業部門、IT部門、グループ本社（Group Office）と連携し、適切なテクノロジーソリューションを選定

- 導入計画の策定および経営層向け提案資料の作成

- IT組織全体における課題の特定および改善施策の企画・推進

- ITプロジェクト、IT投資、パフォーマンスに関するデータの収集・分析

- ITプロジェクト・施策における期待効果および実績効果の測定

- CTOから依頼される特別な戦略プロジェクト・施策の支援

必須スキル

- 金融サービス業界における7年以上のIT経験（IT企画、IT戦略、システム開発、または関連領域）

- 高いステークホルダーマネジメント能力および主体的なコミュニケーション能力

- 高いPowerPoint資料作成・プレゼンテーションスキル

- Excelの関数やピボットテーブルを活用したレポーティング・データ分析の経験

- 高い分析力および問題解決能力

- ビジネス、テクノロジー、経営層など、異なるステークホルダーと横断的に業務を進める能力

- 高い学習能力と、新しい課題に対して主体的に取り組み、責任を持って推進する姿勢
