IT Support Engineer L1/L2

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide high-quality onsite IT support within an enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in L1/L2 workplace support, ServiceNow, LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, printing services, and hardware deployment. Customer service, security compliance, and operational excellence are key to this role.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 onsite IT support for workplace incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise printing services.
• Assist with hardware deployment, installation, configuration, and replacement.
• Manage IT assets and maintain accurate records using ServiceNow.
• Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents in accordance with established processes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and operational procedures.
• Participate in governance, compliance, and operational reviews.
• Deliver excellent customer support, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Experience in onsite IT support within an enterprise environment.
• Strong L1/L2 troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for incident management.
• Good knowledge of LAN and Wi-Fi support.
• Strong experience with printing support and troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong awareness of IT security and compliance requirements.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, MDM, or SCCM.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and network infrastructure.
• ITIL Foundation knowledge or certification.
• Understanding of Microsoft Endpoint fundamentals.
• An automation mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
