IT Support Specialist / IT Operations Assistant 📍 Hybrid | Corporate Office + Retail Store Support 🕒 Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a proactive and technically strong IT Support Specialist / IT Operations Assistant to support and enhance our corporate and multi-location retail technology environment. This is not a traditional helpdesk role. You will play a key part in network infrastructure, IT operations, and store technology support , with hands-on exposure to LAN/WAN environments, SD-WAN connectivity, Microsoft 365 administration, and infrastructure projects . What You’ll Do Infrastructure & Networking Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across corporate and retail locations Troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and access points Support SD-WAN connectivity and network performance monitoring Configure VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing policies Assist with network optimization and infrastructure improvements Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams IT Operations & Support Manage Tier 1 & Tier 2 support tickets through the helpdesk system Provide both remote and on-site support for store locations Install and maintain: Workstations and laptops Network printers POS systems and related equipment IP telephony systems Administer Microsoft 365: User provisioning and access management License assignment and MFA setup Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint support Security & Compliance Support implementation of security policies (e.g., Conditional Access) Assist with endpoint compliance and device management Maintain hardware inventory and asset tracking Promote IT security best practices across the organization Projects & Deployments Support new store openings and relocations Assist with network upgrades and hardware refresh cycles Coordinate with vendors and service providers Help develop and document IT SOPs and processes Collaboration Partner with Operations, Finance, Merchandising, and Store Leadership Communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical teams Provide basic training and guidance to store personnel What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in IT Support, IT Operations, or Infrastructure Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP networking LAN/WAN environments VLANs and switching Basic routing and firewall concepts Experience with managed switches and wireless access points Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively Willingness to travel to store locations Bilingual Spanish/English strongly required Preferred Qualifications Experience with SD-WAN technologies Exposure to network design or architecture Familiarity with Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID Retail or multi-location IT experience Certifications (a plus): CompTIA Network+ CCNA Microsoft Certifications Work Environment & Expectations Hybrid role (office + on-site store support) Hands-on work in active retail environments Travel required to store locations Occasional evening or after-hours work for: System upgrades Store openings Infrastructure maintenance Fast-paced environment where uptime and responsiveness are critical Why Join Us Exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure and growing retail operations Opportunity to work on modernization and technology initiatives Hands-on experience beyond traditional IT support Collaborative, growth-focused environment
