This one is about looking beyond them. As an IT Systems Support Officer , you’ll be part troubleshooter, part systems administrator, and part digital problem-solver. You’ll support users across Microsoft 365 and business systems , manage access and technology assets, assist with system changes, and help maintain strong cybersecurity and data privacy practices. But your job doesn’t end when the issue is resolved. You’ll look for patterns, identify recurring problems, and find opportunities for technology to make work simpler and smarter. In other words: solve today’s issue, then help prevent tomorrow’s. Key Responsibilities Provide user support across Microsoft 365 and business systems . Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues. Resolve login, user access, permissions, and connectivity issues. Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access. Escalate and coordinate complex technical issues with external IT providers. Maintain IT asset registers, software licenses, and system records. Document IT requests, system changes, resolutions, and outstanding issues. Assist with new system implementations and software updates. Test system changes, workflows, digital forms, and processes. Identify recurring technical issues and process improvement opportunities. Maintain and update IT documentation and user guides. Support cybersecurity, data privacy, and access-control procedures. Assist with improvements to digital workflows and business processes. Requirements Required Qualifications (Must-Have): Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems support, or a related role. Practical experience with Microsoft 365 . Experience with IT troubleshooting . Experience providing hardware and software support . Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access . Experience working with cloud-based platforms . Experience maintaining IT records and documentation . Knowledge of basic networking and connectivity . Understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy fundamentals . Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate appropriately when specialist support is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable internet connection for remote work. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting construction, engineering, infrastructure, multi-site, or another project-based business . Experience coordinating technical issues with external IT providers. Experience testing new systems, software updates, workflows, or digital forms.
