IT Technical Architect – Azure, Infrastructure & Security

Cpl are partnering with a leading international organisation to hire an IT Technical Architect for its Infrastructure and Security function.

This is a key role for a technically strong architect with proven Azure and enterprise infrastructure experience. You will design secure, scalable solutions across a global environment, working closely with infrastructure, security, applications and business stakeholders.

• Salary: €90,000–€100,000 plus bonus
• Location: Dublin – hybrid, three days onsite
• Work authorisation: Minimum Stamp 1G Spousal required

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable Azure and infrastructure solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical solution designs.
• Provide technical leadership and support delivery teams on complex projects and escalations.
• Support the integration of SaaS platforms into the wider technology estate.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Applications and Service Delivery teams.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and operational guides.
• Provide third-line technical support across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Contribute to technical standards, continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing across the IT team.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a Technical Architect, Infrastructure Architect or similar senior technical role.
• Strong hands-on Azure architecture experience across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.
• Broad enterprise infrastructure knowledge, including servers, storage, networking, security and Active Directory.
• Experience with Entra ID, identity, authentication and enterprise application management.
• Experience designing highly available and secure solutions within a large or multi-site organisation.
• Comfortable working with third-party suppliers, project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Azure certifications and TOGAF exposure would be beneficial.
• Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin and hold a minimum Stamp 1G Spousal permission.
