Japanese Coordinator (Hybrid – Japan)

About the Role : We are seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter / Coordinator based in Japan to support communication between our Japanese-speaking clients and internal teams. This role requires strong Japanese-English communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, translate business documents, and ensure smooth collaboration across projects. Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM JST (Japan Standard Time) Key Responsibilities : Provide real-time interpretation during client meetings, workshops, presentations, and project discussions. Translate business documents, policies, emails, reports, and other written materials between Japanese and English. Facilitate clear communication between Japanese clients and internal technical teams. Attend on-site client meetings within Japan and represent Codimite professionally when required. Coordinate client communications and follow up on action items to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness in all translations and interpretations. Assist in preparing bilingual documentation, presentations, and training materials. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Requirements : Business-level proficiency in Japanese and strong English communication skills. Should be able to work within 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM JST (Japan Standard Time). Prior experience as an Interpreter, Translator, Coordinator, or similar client-facing role. Strong understanding of business communication and professional etiquette. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
