Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Japanese Teacher at Takumi Association. The Japanese Teacher will design and deliver online lessons, create lesson plans and learning materials, and adapt instruction for different proficiency levels and learning styles. Daily responsibilities include teaching live virtual classes, facilitating interactive activities, assigning and evaluating student work, and providing constructive feedback to support learner progress. The teacher will also communicate regularly with learners and, when applicable, guardians or stakeholders, to discuss goals and performance. Additional tasks may include participating in curriculum development, contributing to educational resources, and engaging in professional development activities to improve teaching practices. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Japanese Teaching and general Teaching, with a solid foundation in Education principles.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to structure engaging, level-appropriate Japanese language lessons.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact with learners and colleagues in an online setting.
Fluency in Japanese with minimum N2 certification and proficient English language skills for instruction and communication.
Experience teaching Japanese online or in a classroom setting, including familiarity with virtual learning platforms and digital tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain organized records of student progress.
