Japanese–English Interpreter — Remote (No experience required)

We are currently hiring fluent Japanese and English speakers for a full-time remote interpreting opportunity.

No previous interpretation experience is required. Selected candidates will receive a comprehensive, paid three-week training program before moving into live interpreting.

Training Schedule

The three-week paid training program includes:

• Two hours of live training per day
• Live training from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM California Time
• Five hours of paid homework and assignments per day, completed independently
• Seven paid hours per day / 35 paid hours per week

Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese
• Fluent in English
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer
• Professional and positive attitude
• Comfortable working remotely
• Available for a full-time position
• Able to begin work and training at 7:00 AM California Time

Selection Process

1. Resume review and submission
2. Online English-language assessment
3. Japanese-language assessment
4. Client interview and final selection

The language assessments are designed to evaluate fluency and communication ability.

Important Assessment Requirements

Candidates must:

• Complete the assessment using a laptop or desktop computer
• Keep their camera switched on throughout the assessment
• Have a stable internet connection
• Follow all assessment instructions carefully
• Avoid opening other applications, websites, or browser tabs during the assessment
• Keep a pen and paper available for taking notes
