Role Description The Java Analyst role is a full-time, remote position responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing Java-based solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing business requirements, designing technical specifications, and developing robust Java applications using frameworks such as Jakarta EE. The role involves integrating and consuming web services, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring code quality through testing and documentation. The Java Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and participate in code reviews. The position also includes maintaining existing applications, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to best practices and technical standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Programming skills in Java and related technologies.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including application design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Candidates should possess experience with Jakarta EE or similar enterprise Java frameworks.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Web Services, including REST and/or SOAP, and API integration.
• Candidates should possess practical experience working with Databases, including SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
