Java Application Support Developer Responsibilities: Triage and troubleshoot incidents impacting EDBC functionality across SNAP, TANF, and Child Care modulesAnalyze application logs, Java code, database information, interfaces, and system behavior to identify the root cause of application issuesDebug code and implement fixes or coordinate remediation efforts with appropriate technical teamsInvestigate production and testing defects and determine technical impact and resolution approachCollaborate with functional, development, and testing teams to validate fixes and confirm successful resolutionDocument incident analysis, root-cause findings, technical recommendations, and validation results in accordance with project standardsMaintain accurate and timely incident and defect status updatesRequired Skills: 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience within complex enterprise applicationsExperience with one of the public assistance programs such as:SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)Child Care assistance programsProven ability to troubleshoot and debug Java applications and resolve application defectsExperience analyzing application logs, code, data, and system behavior to identify root causesExperience supporting production and/or test-environment incidentsStrong understanding of application troubleshooting and incident-resolution processesAbility to work across development, QA/testing, functional, and business teams to drive issues through resolutionExperience investigating defects and determining appropriate code fixes or technical remediation
