Work Model: Hybrid — 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate must be domiciled in Switzerland on the first day of assignment, OR willing to relocate and apply for a B Work Permit if selected (OCP residence certificate required for relocating candidates).

- Immediate availability required — candidates with a 3-month notice period will not be considered.

- Candidates previously submitted to Pictet for a similar role within the last 3 months cannot be submitted again.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer with hands-on architectural-level expertise for a leading private banking client in Geneva. This is a permanent role acting as guardian of technical architecture and technological vision for the product.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL

- Expertise in Spring Boot, Angular, and Hibernate

- Strong expertise in Microservices architecture

- Experience in API styles (REST, SOAP)

- Strong experience in RDBMS and Modeling (UML, ERM, BPMN, C4 Models)

- Domain knowledge in any of: Trading/Transactions, Asset Management, Rebalancing, Taxation, Valuation, Banking Accounts, Compliance, Restitution

- Good to have: Terraform, Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, container orchestration

- Clean code practices: TDD, SOLID, KISS, GOF design patterns

- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

- Software architectures: Hexagonal/Layered, Microservices/Modular, Event-Driven, CQRS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own technical architecture choices at component and software level

- Own the technological vision for the product

- Provide Level 3 support with DevOps

- Collaborate actively with Luxembourg development teams

- Assist the Solution Architect in their mission

- Act as technical advisor to the Product Owner
