Requisition #: 1494 Job Title: Java Automation Engineer Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland Clearance Level: Secret Required Certification(s): Agile Certification Preferred SUMMARY Agile Defense is looking for a Java Automation Engineer or Java Automation Developer to join a large scale national security program responsible for protecting US transportation infrastructure. The program is focused on making risk assessments of individuals attempting to access US transportation infrastructure. There is a demanding response time, availability, and transaction requirement for the program. The program uses Agile Development and the Java Engineer/Developer will be a member of an agile team. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications - Agile Certification Preferred Education, Background, and Years of Experience - Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a formal degree. ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills - 2+ years of java development experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience/ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment - Experience with Java/JEE - Experience with Agile Development - Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines Preferred Skills - Experience with any of the following preferred: JMS, XML, Angular, SQL - Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirements Our Core Values Employees of Agile Defense are our number one priority, and the importance we place on our culture here is fundamental.
