We are currently searching for a Java Developer: The Challenge (Responsibilities) Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, and downstream dependencies using distributed tracing. Troubleshoot and optimize WebSphere and WebLogic environments. Execute JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, and evaluate heap and thread dumps. Implement application-level structured logging and correlation IDs. Analyze API latency, timeouts, retries, and dependency failures. Conduct network, proxy, load balancer, and TLS troubleshooting. Perform browser-to-backend transaction tracing and real user monitoring (RUM). Your Profile (Requirements) Deep Java application performance engineering experience. Strong diagnostic skills with WebSphere and WebLogic . Expertise in JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, heap dumps, and thread dumps. Hands-on experience with APM tools such as Datadog , New Relic , or similar platforms. Experience with Oracle performance diagnostics, including SQL execution plans, AWR, and ASH. Proficiency in managing JDBC connection pools, application thread pools, and session management. Experience tracing transactions across legacy or partially instrumented platforms. High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery. Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering." Desired Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants. Languages Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams. Advanced Spanish.
