About project

• Serves over 60% of the Dutch healthcare market for Pharmacies and General Practitioners
• Mixed teams of developers (Romanian and Dutch colleagues)
• Micro-service architecture

Technical Stack

• Java EE and Spring-Boot microservices with Spring Cloud Gateway, Spring Eureka config (the Netflix stack)
• RabbitMQ (implementation of AMQP) used as a message broker with Google Protocol Buffers as payload
• ORMs: Spring Data, Hibernate
• Databases: DB2 and PostgreSQL
• Frontend: Angular + Bootstrap
• Continuous integration using GitLab actions
• Unit testing: JUnit
• JMeter for performance tests
• Ranorex and Cypress for QA automation and end-to-end testing
• Java build tools: Gradle
• Keycloak for Single Sign On

Requirements

• Analytical thinking, problem decomposition
• Estimating implementations roughly to a day’s work
• Designing high-level components
• Ability to lead a team of lower experienced colleagues
• Ability to present project improvement proposals
• Proven experience with client-server enterprise applications
• Microservices experience
• REST services
• SOAP services
• Spring-Boot and Spring framework knowledge, e.g., for dependency injection, security, and exposing web services
• Unit and integration testing
• Open to adopt AI tooling
• Angular is a plus
