We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Developer to join our team and serve as the critical bridge between our client's S/4HANA core systems and their Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytics environment. This role demands deep technical expertise across the SAP and cloud data ecosystem. You will architect high-performance data models within SAP HANA 2.0, design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines using SAP Data Services (BODS), and orchestrate the end-to-end migration of enterprise data into Google BigQuery for scalable, real-time analytics consumption. The ideal candidate combines SAP data modeling mastery with cloud integration proficiency, and thrives at the intersection of business logic and technical optimization. Responsibilities: HANA Data Modeling & Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize complex Calculation Views using SAP HANA 2.0 (HDI Containers, Web IDE, or Business Application Studio) Create advanced Table Functions and Stored Procedures using SQLScript to support analytical and transactional workloads Implement and maintain HDI Containers, Synonyms, and .hdbgrants configurations to ensure proper data access governance ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and troubleshoot robust data pipelines using SAP Data Services (BODS) to move data from S/4HANA to Google BigQuery Design and implement delta-load frameworks that minimize data extraction overhead while ensuring data freshness Manage BODS job servers and configure complex transformations to meet business and technical requirements S/4HANA Data Extraction: Leverage S/4HANA standard CDS Views and ODP (Operational Data Provisioning) frameworks for efficient, scalable data extraction Navigate the S/4HANA data dictionary (e.g., ACDOCA, MATDOC) to identify optimal data sources and extraction patterns Ensure extraction logic aligns with business processes (e.g., Sales Orders, Material Documents, Financial Postings) Cloud Integration & Architecture: Configure and optimize connectivity between SAP and Google Cloud Platform, utilizing Google Cloud Storage (GCS) for staging and the BigQuery Adapter for bulk loading Design and implement file-based integration patterns using Parquet and CSV formats to maximize load performance Optimize BigQuery table partitioning, clustering, and schema design to support high-performance analytics at scale Optimization & Problem Solving: Continuously analyze and optimize data pipeline performance to achieve real-time or near-real-time data availability Troubleshoot integration issues across SAP HANA, BODS, GCS, and BigQuery, ensuring minimal disruption to downstream consumers Recommend architectural improvements that balance data freshness, system performance, and cost efficiency Requirements: Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken) — required for collaboration with international teams and client stakeholders Proven hands-on experience with SAP HANA 2.0, including XSA architecture, HDI Containers, Synonyms, and .hdbgrants Expert-level proficiency in SAP Data Services (BODS), including building delta-load frameworks, managing job servers, and configuring complex transformations Hands-on experience migrating SAP data to Google BigQuery, with deep understanding of BigQuery partitioning, clustering, and schema optimization Strong familiarity with the S/4HANA data dictionary (e.g., ACDOCA, MATDOC) and Core Data Services (CDS) views Advanced SQLScript skills for creating Table Functions and Stored Procedures within SAP HANA Practical experience with file-based staging integration patterns using Google Cloud Storage (Parquet/CSV formats) "Generalist" mindset: ability to understand both business logic (e.g., how a Sales Order flows) and technical implementation details Nice to Have: SAP certification in HANA 2.0 or S/4HANA Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification Experience with additional GCP services (Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions) Familiarity with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Knowledge of data governance frameworks and master data management (MDM) principles Previous experience in large-scale ERP data modernization or cloud migration projects #LI-JP3 Our benefits: -Health and dental insurance -Meal and food allowance -Childcare assistance -Extended paternity leave -Partnership with gyms and health and wellness professionals via Wellhub (Gympass) TotalPass; - Profit Sharing and Results Participation (PLR); -Life insurance - Continuous learning platform (CI&T University); -Discount club -Free online platform dedicated to physical, mental, and overall well-being -Pregnancy and responsible parenting course -Partnerships with online learning platforms -Language learning platform And many more!
