At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Developer (Azure) to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transformative, and multicultural environment. Position Overview: As a Senior Data Developer, you will lead the development and optimization of data systems on Azure, playing a crucial role in ensuring our data solutions are robust and efficient. Your expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL will be essential as you work closely with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-quality data-driven solutions that meet client needs. Key Responsibilities: Resolve Level 3 incidents by proactively diagnosing issues and implementing solutions. Roll back changes when necessary to restore operations and minimize downtime. Assist teams in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for efficient workflows. Drive a “Shift Left” mindset by helping establish standards for effective runbook documentation. Perform corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance of data systems. Enhance monitoring and observability practices to improve the reliability and performance of the data ecosystem. Participate in and help lead post-mortem analysis to identify root causes of incidents and collaborate on preventative action plans. Required Skills and Qualifications: Must-have Skills: Proficiency in Python / PySpark Experience with Databricks and Azure Strong SQL skills Familiarity with unit testing, Git, and Software Configuration Management / Continuous Integration (SCM/CI) Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting expertise for complex systems Knowledge of creating and implementing SOPs and runbooks Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices Understanding of data architecture and best practices for data pipelines is a plus Advanced English proficiency Collaboration is our superpower, diversity unites us, and excellence is our standard.
