Joint Facilities Analyst As a Joint Facilities Analyst , you'll research utility infrastructure, determine utility ownership, administer Pole Attachment and Joint Use Agreements, and coordinate with utility partners to support the expansion of Metronet's fiber network. This role combines research, regulatory compliance, agreement administration, and cross-functional collaboration to identify and resolve issues before engineering, permitting, and construction begin, helping keep projects on schedule. This team serves as a critical link between utility companies and Metronet's Engineering, Legal, Permitting, and Construction teams, ensuring infrastructure issues are resolved before projects move into the field. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support the administration and lifecycle management of Pole Attachment and Joint Use Agreements. Research unfamiliar utility ownership and infrastructure issues, evaluate available information, and make well-supported recommendations that help move projects forward. Investigate, research, and resolve utility ownership discrepancies, agreement questions, and other issues that may impact network expansion. Research and resolve special projects related to utility infrastructure, ownership, agreements, and network expansion. Maintain agreement documentation, renewals, amendments, and compliance records. Support the research, tracking, and coordination of utility agreements, permits, and infrastructure records needed to support new construction projects. Coordinate with internal departments and utility partners to support project execution. Analyze utility data and develop reports that support operational decisions, project planning, and workflow improvements. Identify opportunities to improve Joint Facilities processes through better documentation, reporting, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate with Legal and other internal stakeholders to review, interpret, and support the administration of utility agreements. Ensure compliance with company, utility, and regulatory requirements. Other job-related duties as requested JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree preferred Experience in one or more of the following industries or functional areas is preferred: Telecommunications Electric Utility Joint Use Pole Attachments Utility Engineering Utility Coordination Utility Permitting Utility Records Infrastructure Planning Working knowledge of NESC, FCC regulations, utility attachment standards, or other utility/telecommunications regulations preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Tables and other analytical tools. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation, agreements, and utility records. Ability to manage multiple projects independently while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail. Ability to research unfamiliar issues, draw logical conclusions, and make sound recommendations with minimal supervision. Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills Strong Organizational and Prioritization Skills Detail Oriented Willingness to work as a team and independently.
