Role Description The Journalist intern will research, pitch, and write news stories and features aligned with B-empire Magazine’s editorial focus. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring current events, conducting interviews, verifying information from multiple sources, and drafting clear, accurate articles. The intern will support the creation of press-related content, assist with basic broadcasting tasks where applicable, and collaborate with editors for revisions and feedback. This is an internship role and is fully remote, offering flexibility while requiring reliable communication and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Writing and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging journalistic content.
• Candidates should possess Press Releases and Broadcasting skills for creating media statements and contributing to audio or video segments as needed.
• Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including fact-checking, source evaluation, and information synthesis.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, with attention to detail and grammar.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet editorial deadlines.
• Interest or coursework in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is beneficial.
• Basic familiarity with digital publishing tools, online media platforms, and ethical journalism standards is an advantage.
