Project Description: We are currently looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help build and enhance automated testing for an existing SaaS application. Location: Brazil Argentina Colombia Poland Romania Bulgaria Montenegro Portugal Spain Job Responsibilities: Automated QA system build-out — design and develop an automated QA system for an existing SaaS application written in ASP.NET Framework. Test automation framework design — design robust, scalable automated test processes using frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright. API testing — build API testing suites using Postman and RestAssured libraries. CI/CD integration — integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins. Parallel test execution — execute parallel testing to maximize test execution speed. Developer collaboration — work closely with developers to locate and resolve bugs before code deployment. Defect management — track, manage, and document software defects cleanly inside Jira dashboards. Test data strategy — maintain comprehensive test data strategies to support continuous deployment cycles. Documentation — produce and maintain clear, thorough test documentation (test plans, test cases, defect logs, automation coverage) to a high standard. Cross-team communication — communicate clearly in English with US-based team members and stakeholders during most US East Coast or West Coast working hours. Data flow validation — work comfortably with large data flows and math-based application logic as part of test design and validation. Quality outcomes — optimize software quality, reliability, and end-user satisfaction metrics for the engagement. Requirements: Experience — 5+ years of QA automation experience, including experience testing large enterprise software. Education — Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Automation frameworks — hands-on expertise designing automated tests with Selenium and Playwright. Programming languages — proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and TypeScript. Core stack — comfortable working in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, and REST APIs. API testing tools — experience building API test suites with Postman and RestAssured. CI/CD — experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins. Defect tracking — experience tracking and documenting defects in Jira. Preferred — prior experience with AWS, Kafka, and Snowflake. Communication — strong English language communication skills. Documentation — excellent documentation skills. Availability — available during most US East Coast or most US West Coast working hours. Collaboration history — preference for candidates who have worked together with the other resources on this engagement previously. Engagement flexibility — must have the option for early roll-off; preference for candidates who could extend the engagement if necessary.
