THE ROLE The Junior Accountant will support the Finance and Accounting team across a range of operational and project-based responsibilities, playing a key role in maintaining accuracy and consistency as Every Man Jack continues to scale. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this role supports day-to-day accounting operations of the business, helps maintain the accuracy of our financial records, and contributes to month-end close processes. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to grow within a dynamic, purpose-driven consumer goods company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with Inventory Transactions and reconciliations Claims support - obtain supporting documentation, including PODs, process for submission and provide regular tracking and reporting Support tracking for overages billings Assist with the submission of customer invoices through various retailer portals Finance and Accounting team support . THE CANDIDATE Candidates must be passionate, organized, and love developing personal care, grooming, or skin care products. This person is highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. While this candidate loves timelines and getting organized, this person has a remarkable ability to remain calm and flexible in the fast-paced, changing world of product development in a high-growth environment. A true ambassador for EMJ, both internally and externally. CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 0–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; internship experience is welcome. Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and double-entry bookkeeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; comfort with formulas, pivot tables, and data organization. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus. Background in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce industries. Exposure to inventory accounting, 3PL reconciliations, or retail vendor compliance processes. A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, improve processes, and take ownership of responsibilities.
