Job purpose: The Junior Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting cycle, ensuring that financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in compliance with internal controls, applicable accounting standards, and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
Record daily accounting entries in compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in reviewing vendor invoices and preparing payment requests.
Support AR and AP transaction processing and follow-ups.
Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
Maintain organized documentation and digital records for audits.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather required financial data.
Prepare basic financial reports when required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in accounting (Fresh graduates are welcome if they have strong accounting fundamentals).
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables is a plus).
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
