Alpine Business Consulting is looking for a Junior AI Implementation Specialist to support our project for a logistics leader based in Antwerp. In this fully remote role, you will help our team integrate automated data processes and forecasting models into existing financial systems. You will work closely with senior consultants to ensure that new technical tools align with the practical needs of a busy finance department.
About Alpine Business Consulting Alpine Business Consulting works at the intersection of finance processes and the systems that support them. We specialize in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and analytics, helping finance teams fix platforms that never delivered on their promises. While we build new systems from scratch, much of our work involves remediating existing setups in Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and Power BI. We focus on the numbers side of the house, ensuring that consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and reporting pipelines reflect how a finance team actually operates. Our approach moves away from typical implementation theatre. We prioritize finance-first configurations and fixed-price engagements, giving our clients certainty before any work begins. We do not believe in keeping clients dependent on us. Instead, we build administrator training and documentation into every project so teams can run their systems independently after go-live. We are a remote-first team of consultants who understand that a dashboard is only useful if the data is accurate to the cent and available the morning a period closes. Whether it is a cloud migration or a complex forecasting model, we value precision over presentation.
What You Will Do
Support the configuration of AI-driven forecasting modules within platforms like Oracle EPM and Power BI.
Clean and map historical financial data from the logistics client in Antwerp to prepare it for machine learning models.
Test automated consolidation rules to ensure they handle intercompany eliminations accurately.
Draft technical documentation that explains how AI models interact with the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
Monitor data pipelines for errors and suggest corrections to improve the quality of financial reports.
Participate in remote client meetings to gather requirements for new reporting dashboards and automated workflows.
Help prepare training materials for finance teams so they can manage their own AI tools after our project finishes.
Collaborate with senior consultants to research new ways to automate repetitive manual accounting tasks.
What We Are Looking For
A basic understanding of financial statements, such as the Balance Sheet and P&L, and general accounting principles.
Familiarity with data tools like Excel (using complex formulas), SQL, or basic Python scripting.
A strong interest in how automation can be used to solve practical problems in corporate finance.
Clear written communication skills for creating user guides and internal project notes.
The ability to work independently and stay organized in a fully remote environment.
High attention to detail, specifically a care for ensuring numbers match across different systems.
A degree or recent coursework in Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study.
Willingness to learn new EPM software and technical tools through hands-on project work.
What We Offer
A permanent, full-time position in a stable and growing consulting firm.
A fully remote work environment where your performance is measured by the quality of your work.
Direct exposure to large-scale projects for major international organizations.
Mentorship from senior consultants with deep expertise in finance systems and data architecture.
Competitive pay that is attractive for the current market and entry-level seniority.
A culture that values technical precision and honest communication over corporate fluff.
Experience working with modern EPM platforms and integrating AI into real-world business cycles.
How We Work Our philosophy centers on efficiency and clear project results. By using fixed-price engagements, we remove the incentive to drag out projects, focusing instead on getting the system right the first time. This role is remote, allowing our team to work from where they are most effective while maintaining a high standard of output. We do not just build a system and leave: we ensure every client, such as our logistics partner in Antwerp, is fully equipped to maintain their own platforms. We prioritize building reliable, transparent systems that finance teams can trust for their most critical period-end reporting.
