Junior AI Implementation Specialist

We are looking for a Junior AI Implementation Specialist to help translate complex financial and operational data into functional AI models. This role focuses on supporting a specific engagement where our client is an East Asian manufacturing group seeking to improve their capital allocation through machine learning tools.

The Role
This is a full time, permanent position that is fully remote. You will work closely with our principals to bridge the gap between financial theory and practical AI application. You will not just be building models in a vacuum: you will be testing if those models reflect the messy reality of a global supply chain. This is an entry level position designed for someone who is comfortable with data and wants to see how AI actually affects a company's bottom line. Because we are a small firm, you will have the opportunity to see every stage of a project, from the initial data audit to the final implementation on the client side.

What You Will Be Doing

• Cleaning and organizing large datasets from various sources to prepare them for AI modeling and analysis.
• Testing the assumptions built into automated pricing tools to ensure they align with actual market conditions.
• Documenting the logic behind specific algorithms to provide transparency and clarity to the client.
• Assisting with the setup of monitoring tools that track how AI recommendations influence financial performance over time.
• Collaborating with senior staff to identify where data gaps or inconsistencies might lead to faulty AI outputs.
• Participating in weekly reviews to discuss the real world friction encountered during the implementation phase.
• Updating financial models to reflect new insights gathered from machine learning analysis and automated reporting.
• Assisting in the creation of clear reports that explain technical AI outcomes in plain English for our principals and clients.

What You Bring

• A university degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, economics, finance, or mathematics.
• Basic proficiency with Python or R, specifically for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Strong skills in Excel, including the ability to build clear, logical spreadsheets and handle complex formulas.
• A healthy sense of skepticism and the ability to ask probing questions when looking at a data set.
• Good communication skills for explaining technical findings to team members who may not have a coding background.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, especially when working with messy or incomplete information.
• The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying connected and responsive to the team.
• Curiosity about how businesses make money and a desire to understand the financial logic behind technical tools.
