Junior Automation Specialist

We are looking for a Junior Automation Specialist to support our advisory team as they work on high-stakes commercial logic. Currently, we are partnering with a French logistics firm to support their operational decision-making processes. This is a full-time, permanent position that is fully remote. The role is a paid entry-level position, offering compensation that is competitive for the current market.
What You Will Do

• Set up and maintain basic automated workflows to help our team gather information on counterparties and market behaviors.
• Help clean and organize data sets related to our current project with a French logistics firm to ensure partners have accurate ground reality.
• Monitor automated information feeds to alert senior advisors to changes in the regulatory or commercial environment.
• Assist in the creation of logical maps that show how state and private capital interact within specific deals.
• Document technical processes so that non-technical team members can understand how data is being sourced and processed.
• Support the preparation of client-facing positions by pulling relevant statistics and performance indicators from our internal tools.
• Troubleshoot simple logic errors in our research scripts to maintain a consistent flow of information for active engagements.
• Collaborate with senior partners to translate complex commercial questions into simple data gathering tasks.

What You Bring

• A strong logical mindset and a genuine interest in how businesses make decisions in complex environments.
• Basic familiarity with automation tools or scripting, perhaps through university projects, internships, or personal study.
• The ability to write clearly and explain technical steps in plain, professional English.
• A high level of attention to detail, especially when handling data that influences significant commercial advice.
• Commercial curiosity regarding how firms operate in markets where the rules are not always clearly defined.
• The discipline to work effectively in a fully remote environment while staying connected to the team.
• A preference for practical solutions that work over theoretical models that look good on paper.
• A degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or data analysis, or equivalent practical experience at an entry level.
