What you will do

• Map out manual workflows in the client's current reporting and data entry cycles.
• Set up automated scripts and sequences to move data between internal systems and external databases.
• Monitor the health of existing automation pipes to ensure no data is lost during transit.
• Document the logic and architecture of every automated process for future governance audits.
• Provide a technical view to the principals on which tools best support portfolio clarity.
• Test new automation sequences thoroughly to identify errors before they affect client reports.
• Assist in the rationalization of software used by the Dubai-based financial services firm to reduce complexity.
• Produce simple, clear status updates on system performance for non-technical colleagues.

What we are looking for

• A logical approach to problem-solving and an interest in how business systems interact.
• Basic familiarity with scripting languages or low-code automation tools.
• The ability to explain technical sequences in plain, professional English.
• High attention to detail when checking data accuracy and system logs.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to document processes clearly.
• Willingness to learn the specific governance requirements of holding companies and financial entities.
• A preference for simple, reliable solutions over complex or fragile setups.
