As part of our international growth strategy, LIMERES is expanding its presence to Brazil in response to increasing client demand. We are seeking a Junior Bilingual Attorney licensed to practice law in Brazil with no more than 5 years of being licensed to join our international team and contribute to the firm’s regional development. At the moment we are only considering applicants who have been licensed for no more than 5 years. This search for a bilingual junior attorney is strict and will be verified.

The Role
This is a full-time, 100% remote position offering exposure to international legal work and cross-border transactions. The selected attorney will collaborate closely with senior counsel, support foreign clients, and participate in matters involving multiple jurisdictions.
As the firm’s practice grows in Brazil, this role may evolve to include increased responsibility and leadership opportunities.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following job-related requirements:
• Law degree and active license to practice law in Brazil with no more than 5 years of being licensed. At the moment we cannot consider applicants who have been licensed for more than 5 years.
• Early-career legal experience (typically associated with junior-level roles)
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local business hours)
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, international team environment
• Willingness to participate in video-based professional activities as part of the role

On-Camera Professional Activities
This position includes regular on-camera participation as part of the firm’s client education and international communication strategy.
Responsibilities will include appearing in short informational or educational videos addressing legal topics related to the firm’s practice areas.
• Prior on-camera or video experience is not required
• Training, scripts, and editorial guidance will be provided
• The emphasis is on legal clarity, professionalism, and credibility
Applicants should be comfortable engaging in this form of professional communication, as it is an essential function of the role.

• Inheritances, probate/successions litigation and estate planning

What We Offer
• Performance-based compensation with significant revenue participation potential (starting at 25% and up to 50%), depending on many factors, which will be analyzed on a per case basis. This is NOT a salary based position as lawyer will be able to make in excess of US100,000 within the first 9 to 12 months of work. It should also be expected that this Partner will make US250,000 in year 2 and US1M between year 4 and 5.

Questions that Lawyer Will Be Asked in a First Interview:
1. Confirm lawyer does not have more than 5 years of being licensed as an attorney in its jurisdiction, as only junior lawyers will be hired with no more than five years of experience;
2. Confirm lawyer will feel comfortable with creating educational legal videos about the laws of its country of practice;
3. Confirm that lawyer has a valid and unexpired passport to travel internationally;
4. Has lawyer ever travelled to the USA? This question is being asked as Lawyer will be required to travel at the very least once every trimester to the U.S. in order to sign disclosures with clients;
5. Lawyer is comfortable with a fully remote position;
6. Lawyer has a valid and unexpired driver license and feels comfortable with driving in the USA or abroad to visit clients.
7. Lawyer is ok with travelling overseas btween 1 to 2 months a year on business purposes;
8. Lawyer will not require a visa to work in the country where applying.
