Junior Collections Agent with German (B2/C1)

Our partner, a global American leader in the automotive industry, is hiring a Junior Collections Agent with German!

Note: we are looking for people at the beginning of their journey, who want to evolve professionally, German speakers at business level (B2/C1), with the right motivation and a positive attitude towards work and people, in general, with a Bachelor’s degree or in the process of obtaining it and preferably one year of experience in a multinational company. Collaboration: CIM (permanent contract). Working mode: hybrid (three days from the office in District 6). Schedule: 09:00-17:00 or 10:00-18:00 (there will be two shifts), Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting customers with outstanding payments to reach an agreement for repaying unpaid dues as well as other relevant third parties mainly via phone, both outbound and inbound (50% calls and 50% back-office tasks).
• Processing of overdue customer contracts in the collection system (data maintenance, dispatching reminders/dunning letters, processing of incoming mail).
• Coordinating account termination process based on contract maturity evaluation.
• Monitoring/coordination of vehicle repossession in consultation with customers/dealers/insolvency administrators/lawyers and repossession agencies (repossession assignments incl. placing and monitoring orders to external experts, controlling reports, checking and forwarding invoices for approval/payment).
• Processing the expertise of vehicles incl. value and damage assessment (placing orders to external experts, monitoring orders, controlling the reports, checking invoices and forwarding for approval/payment).
• Coordinating vehicle sale process for e.g. terminated accounts by selecting the remarketing channel, starting auctions, obtaining and negotiating bids and forwarding them to the supervisor for approval as well as preparing sales documents, checking incoming payments and, if necessary, sending payment reminders.
• Clarification and processing of complaints resulting from vehicle sales in coordination with the supervisor.
• Acquisition and maintenance of contacts with dealers and buyers (by telephone, regular maintenance), administration of participation agreements for the Internet Auction Platform incl. User Administration and Annual Access Review.
• Regular and ad hoc reporting evaluations and market value assessments of vehicles.
• Data maintenance in the relevant IT systems.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of previous experience in collecting loans in financial institutions, whether banking or non-banking, are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Advanced German knowledge, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of English at medium level, written and spoken.
• Problem-solving attitude, decision-making skills, analytical skills.
