To support this engagement, we are adding a Junior Data Quality Analyst to our remote team. This role is focused on the integrity of the information that underpins our written memoranda.
The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the data sets provided by our client. Your work ensures that the conclusions we present in our signed memoranda are based on verified facts rather than faulty assumptions. The day-to-day work involves:
- Reviewing raw operational data from international shipping and supply chain systems to identify logical gaps.
- Scanning for inconsistencies, duplications, and errors within large datasets provided by the Brussels-based logistics firm.
- Writing brief, precise summaries of your findings to inform the principals during the drafting process.
- Validating the assumptions used in client reports by tracing figures back to their original sources.
- Maintaining a clear record of data health for each stage of the advisory project.
- Collaborating with our senior advisors through written updates to clarify data anomalies.
- Assisting in the preparation of the final written record by providing verified data tables and summaries.
What You Bring
We value intellectual maturity and the discipline required for high-level analytical work. This is an entry-level role, and we do not expect a long history of professional experience. However, we do require a high standard of precision and a natural inclination toward scrutiny. Requirements include:
- A basic understanding of data structures and familiarity with tools such as Excel or entry-level SQL.
