Junior data scientist - AI for healthcare
Are you a Data Scientist who wants to apply your expertise in AI to improve the quality of life of vulnerable people? Then join us at Mentech to work on our groundbreaking products Hume and Noa!
About Mentech
Mentech is a high-tech company based in Eindhoven, driven by the mission to improve the quality of life of vulnerable individuals. Every day, our dedicated team of hardware designers, data scientists, software developers, behavioral experts, and consultants works on groundbreaking innovations at the intersection of technology and care.
People with intellectual disabilities or dementia often struggle to express emotions, pain, or discomfort. This can lead to stress, behavioral challenges, and difficulties for caregivers in providing the right support.
At Mentech, we develop innovative AI-driven solutions to make emotions and stress visible, prevent loneliness, and improve the quality of care.
- Hume is our emotion recognition platform, using wearable sensors, behavioral models, and machine learning to detect stress from physiological signals (heart rate, skin conductance, movement). It helps caregivers better understand clients and provide meaningful care.
- Noa is our AI assistant for long-term care, designed to support caregivers and clients with intelligent interventions, such as reducing overstimulation or preventing loneliness through personalized interaction.
Together, Hume and Noa shape the future of compassionate and data-driven healthcare.
