Your first assignment Your first assignment will likely include contributing to refinement and execution of user stories by: building AWS cloud-native, event-driven serverless application workflows using Lambda and Step Functions; integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products with broader, internally developed system frameworks; developing internal or external API interconnections to facilitate modern system architectures; or building the data and document pipelines that turn manual, paper-heavy process into something automatic Adaptability and an appetite for learning new concepts, systems, and tools is what will move you forward fastest here. What you'll build Modern, cloud-native systems that provide exceptional business value through streamlined, automated operation. Working, tested code, reviewed by people who explain what to change and why, and the defects you find and fix along the way: the fastest ways to get good at this. Your part of the automation that replaces manual process, growing as you show you can carry more. Deployments that are routine: services released through pipelines rather than through events. AI-assisted development as standard practice: learning tools like Amazon Q Developer across the lifecycle. In time, the firm itself: new capabilities, tools, and lines of business you help spin up. What you'll need U.S. citizenship (this initial engagement may be staffed by U.S. citizens only) and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. This is a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and it requires commuting into DC regularly.
