Junior Field Service Technician apply for this job INTRODUCTION Nidec is looking for motivated young talents to train and grow into the role of Field Service Technician, offering a hands-on experience in an international and innovative environment. SUMMARY OF ROLE Traveling technician for system start-up and post-start-up support. Providing technical support to customers for the commissioning and post-start-up phases of medium voltage inverters and converters. Availability to travel approximately 70% of the time annually in Italy and abroad, following an initial training period on specific products. SKILLS REQUIREMENT Education: Technical diploma in electrical/electronics or bachelor’s degree. Basic knowledge of power electronics, converters, and electrical distribution systems. Familiarity with measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope). Basic knowledge of PLCs is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus (nice to have), but not mandatory. Language skills: good knowledge of English. Knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus. IT/application skills (Office, Outlook). Good interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn and travel.
