Day-to-Day Responsibilities​ Embraces new technology with passion Responsible for writing clean, secure code, ideally following a test-driven approach Code that others can reuse Apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes and outputs Translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet user needs and engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users when required Adopt a modern approach to standards Apply appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensure they are applied effectively Collaborative, keen to share knowledge and learn continually Think out of the box You document all aspects of software, for ongoing maintenance and revisions You collaborate with other IT specialists, technicians, etc., to deliver software solutions You participate in on-going training to stay current in required skills Who Are We Looking For We look for big thinkers. In practice this means: You have 1+ years of experience in full-stack development with proficiency in Angular for frontend and Java with Spring for backend You have strong technical skills in these areas: Angular, Java, Javascript, typescript, HTML, CSS, Camel, Spring, Springboot, Postgres, Oracle, Git/GitLab/Jenkins You have strong knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and API security best practices Knowledge on create and maintain reusable Angular libraries to optimize the development of future project You have strong knowledge of Spring ecosystem including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud You have good knowledge with dependency injection, AOP, and other core Spring concepts DevOps experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Knowledge with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) You have a degree in software engineering, computer science or similar field You have great analytical and problem-solving skills Good understanding of UI/UX design principles You have working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or any Cloud Provider, with experience of hosting software solutions on the platform You have experience of Agile working environment You are organized and skilled in time-management You are very accurate and demonstrate high attention to detail You have a willingness to learn additional technologies and programming languages You have sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills You are fluent in English, German is a plus Perks & Benefits At Worldline you’ll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
