Build What Matters
The Full Stack Engineer is an ownership role responsible for product outcomes end-to-end: from shaping technical approaches and building features through to release, reliability, and production performance.
At Sitemate, engineers combine strong technical craft with product thinking and delivery ownership. You'll work in small, high-trust teams alongside Product Design Managers to define problems, shape solutions, implement clean and scalable systems, and take responsibility for what ships — including how it behaves once live.

🔧 What this role looks like at the junior level
You'll join a team attached to one of our products and learn by shipping. Senior engineers will pair with you, review your work, and invest in your growth - but you'll have real ownership from early on.
You'll work across frontend, backend, and mobile: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, and AWS. You don't need to know all of these, willingness to learn matters more than what you know today.
Two Things Make Engineering Different Here
- You'll develop a product mindset. Instead of just working through tickets, you'll start understanding why features matter to customers. Engineers here are closer to the problem than at most companies; your work has context and meaning from day one.
- You'll build with AI from the start. We're moving toward agentic engineering where engineers define what to build and orchestrate AI agents to construct it. As a junior here, you'll develop AI-first habits that most engineers won't learn for years.
🔧 Day-to-Day
- Build and ship features with guidance from experienced teammates.
- Work with AI tools daily, with the team's workflow skills for planning, implementation and review.
- Fix bugs and improve product stability across web and mobile.
- Investigate and resolve production issues.
- Grow into more ownership over time, this role expands as you do.
