As a Junior IAM Specialist , you will manage standard identity security and access lifecycles using Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint ISC. You will also serve as the critical first point of contact for L1 Workplace Support, resolving fundamental end-user queries on-site and seamlessly escalating complex hardware or infrastructure issues to our dedicated provider. Your Responsibilities Handle L1/L2 IAM incidents, routine access requests, and identity lifecycles primarily via Entra ID and SailPoint ISC Support passwordless authentication rollouts (e.g., passkeys) and user transitions from legacy MFA Manage user attributes, group memberships, and basic role assignments Troubleshoot everyday Single Sign-On (SSO) login failures and general access issues Provide proactive, L1 on-site IT support (Zurich and regularly in Bern) Triage Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and macOS issues, escalating advanced incidents to our external provider Handle basic device lifecycles (local preparation, onboarding/offboarding handovers, and inventory) Provide hands-and-eyes support for conference rooms, local network patching, and peripherals What You Bring Completed IT apprenticeship, degree in computer science, or equivalent practical IT support experience First Experiences in IAM Support, IT Helpdesk, or Workplace Support Understanding of fundamental IAM concepts (e.g., SSO, modern/passwordless authentication) Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint ISC Baseline knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, macOS, and basic Intune endpoint management Strong analytical skills for initial root-cause analysis and determining when to escalate Diligence in maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and accurate escalation logs A continuous improvement mindset focused on process optimization Highly adaptable and structured approach to balancing routine IAM queues with physical L1 requests Independent, proactive, and reliable execution in a fast-paced environment and patient, service-oriented mindset focused on end-user guidance Excellent collaboration skills to align internal IAM teams and external workplace providers Advantageous: Jira experience, basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi), and conference room tech Fluent communication skills in both German and English What awaits you: Career and development: Shape your professional future through exciting tasks and challenges, as well as comprehensive further education opportunities in an innovative technology company.
