Junior Logistics Specialist (Trodo SIA / Latvija)

The Junior Logistics Specialist supports daily logistics operations by ensuring smooth shipment flow, accurate data handling, and effective communication with customers, partners, and internal teams. The role focuses on operational support, shipment monitoring, and resolving delivery-related issues. Responsibilities: Support daily logistics operations and shipment flow management Monitor shipments and provide updates on delivery status (track & trace) Handle customer inquiries related to deliveries and shipment status Work with ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk, Jira) to process requests and support cases Assist in handling delivery issues, returns, and claims processing Communicate with logistics partners, carriers, and internal departments to resolve operational issues Ensure accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date information in logistics systems Support the logistics team in maintaining efficient and reliable delivery processes Requirements: Interest in logistics or previous experience in a similar role (preferred) Proficiency in English is essential for communication with foreign suppliers Basic understanding of logistics or supply chain processes Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Basic knowledge of MS Excel Willingness to learn new systems and processes What we offer: Extended health insurance Flexible benefits (extra holidays or paid GYM) Growth & development opportunities Employee Purchase Program Mental health support program Fruits (and ice cream during summer), and refreshments in the office Family-friendly workplace Celebrations of employee's important life moments Team buildings and corporate events Trodo was founded in 2013 by two young IT enthusiasts (and brothers) from Latvia and an experienced rally and car maintenance veteran from Norway.
