Role Description The Junior Payroll Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Varna, Bulgaria, with some flexibility to work from home. This entry-level position supports the payroll team with data entry, verification of employee information, and preparation of payroll reports. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with payroll processing, checking timesheets for accuracy, maintaining payroll records, and responding to basic employee inquiries under supervision. The role also involves coordinating with accounting or HR to resolve discrepancies, learning applicable payroll procedures and systems, and following established compliance policies. The successful candidate will receive training and guidance to build foundational payroll skills while contributing to reliable and timely payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Interest in developing skills in Payroll Services and Payroll Administration, with willingness to learn and follow established processes.
• Motivation to build knowledge in Payroll Management and Payroll Taxes, including basic understanding of regulations and documentation requirements.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain confidential information responsibly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Bulgarian language skills are an advantage.
