Junior Portfolio Management Officer Oversee real estate, private equity and private debt portfolios from inside a growing independent Luxembourg AIFM. We usually respond within three days Portfolio management, close to the decisions We are an independent AIFM boutique, founded by a seasoned real estate asset manager and now scaling up as a third-party specialised AIFM. Our team is small, our funds are complex, and there is no layer between you and the people making the calls. If you want to build genuine investment judgement rather than process a queue, this is the seat. What you'll do Reporting to the Conducting Officer in charge of portfolio management, you will support the oversight of complex Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and Fund of Funds portfolios, as well as the monitoring of delegated portfolio management arrangements. • Contribute to the onboarding of new funds and mandates: investment strategy, risk/return profile, operational feasibility and fit with the AIFM framework. • Review offering documents and fund documentation (prospectus/PPM, LPA, investment guidelines, side letters) and ensure ongoing compliance with policies, regulation and investment restrictions. • Assess investment opportunities initiated by the AIFs, their GPs, advisors and delegated portfolio managers. • Understand, assess and challenge complex financial models and investment theses. • Maintain a detailed working knowledge of portfolio exposures: asset allocation, concentration, leverage, liquidity profile, hedging. • Support investment and divestment decisions, documenting the rationale and escalating where needed. • Run and maintain a robust monitoring process across Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt and Fund of Funds. • Apply the delegation oversight framework where portfolio management is delegated: due diligence, ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, KPIs and Board reporting. • Contribute to investment committees, AIF governance bodies and Board reporting. • Stay apprised of the macroeconomic environment, capital markets, private markets valuation trends and Luxembourg fund regulation. Who you are • You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or equivalent. • You can review, assess and challenge investment proposals, financial models and structuring. • You read complex fund documentation (LPAs, PPMs, investment management agreements) and complex models with confidence. • You communicate excellently in writing and out loud, and can produce board-ready documentation. • You take ownership, work independently, manage priorities and finish what you start. • You have high integrity, a pragmatic mindset, and you challenge constructively. • You are fluent in English. Nice to have • Experience in portfolio management, investment oversight or private markets, ideally in an AIFM or ManCo environment. • Familiarity with Luxembourg alternative fund structures (RAIF, SIF, SCSp) and private investment structuring. • Exposure to Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt or listed assets (equity or fixed income). • Awareness of the Luxembourg AIFM regulatory environment and CSSF expectations. • French.
