A regional industrial leader is currently working with Tech Pipeline to resolve significant friction in their internal operations. As a Junior Project Manager, you will help coordinate the specific technical fixes that bridge the gap between the tools this client already owns and the work their team needs to complete. This is a full-time, fully remote position focused on practical problem solving rather than high-level strategy. About the role In this role, you will assist in managing the project lifecycle for technical interventions. Tech Pipeline does not provide abstract advice: we find where data goes bad, why email chains are stalled, and why systems do not talk to each other. You will be responsible for keeping these tasks organized for both our internal team and the client operators. The work involves a high degree of technical mapping, tracking specific routing rules, and ensuring every identified integration gap is closed before we hand the system back to the client. Because we work remotely, your ability to document progress clearly and maintain an accurate project log is essential to the success of the engagement.
What you will be doing
Tracking the status of technical fixes, such as routing rule updates and database reconciliations.
Maintaining the project log to ensure every friction point identified in the logs is assigned and addressed.
Drafting clear, plain-language status updates that explain technical hurdles to the client's operations team.
Organizing documentation for new workflows to ensure the client has a clear source of truth.
Monitoring project backlogs to identify recurring issues that might indicate a deeper system failure.
Following up with team members to verify that new system integrations are functioning as intended.
Assisting with the final handover process to ensure the client team can run the system without us.
What we need from you
A direct and professional writing style that prioritizes clarity over corporate jargon.
Strong organizational habits and the ability to track multiple small, technical tasks simultaneously.
Basic familiarity with documentation tools and a general understanding of how software data flows.
A practical mindset that prefers looking at actual system logs over reading high-level summaries.
Comfort working in a fully remote environment where most communication happens asynchronously.
Attention to detail, especially when reviewing project timelines and task completion reports.
A willingness to ask questions until you understand the ground truth of a technical problem.
Helpful background
Previous experience in a role that required heavy use of spreadsheets or data entry.
Exposure to basic project coordination through internships, university projects, or part-time work.
Familiarity with how different software tools connect, such as how an ERP might interact with a CRM.
What the role offers
The ability to work from anywhere in a permanent, fully remote position.
Practical experience untangling complex business systems for a major industrial client.
A work culture that values documentation and clear communication over long meetings.
Exposure to a wide variety of technical stacks and operational workflows.
A structured environment where the goal is to fix problems and move on to the next challenge.
Competitive compensation that is attractive for an entry-level professional in the current market.
The opportunity to build a career in operations and project management by doing concrete work.
Working at Tech Pipeline We operate on the principle that the best way to manage a project is to stay close to the technical reality of the work. At Tech Pipeline, we do not believe in daily status meetings that lead nowhere: instead, we rely on precise documentation and weekly written updates. Our team values deep work and clear, asynchronous communication. We stay with a client through their first month of live operation to make sure our fixes stick, and then we move on. This ensures our projects have a clear beginning and end, allowing us to focus on delivering tangible results rather than managing long-term retainers. As a remote company, we provide the autonomy you need to do your best work while staying connected through shared goals and technical rigor.
