The Role As a Junior Project Manager, you will work directly with our principals to keep complex financial reviews on track. This is a fully remote position that requires a disciplined approach to time management and a clear communication style. You will not just be managing timelines: you will be expected to understand the data we are collecting and help ensure that the evidence matches the claims being made by the companies we advise. You will spend your day looking through spreadsheets, coordinating with client teams, and making sure our internal analysis remains focused on the primary financial objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
Tracking the progress of data collection from various departments within the East Coast client organization.
Reviewing financial models for logical errors and ensuring all assumptions are clearly documented and tested.
Preparing concise status updates that focus on identified risks and data gaps rather than broad generalities.
Assisting in the interrogation of acquisition assumptions by verifying historical P&L figures against new projections.
Organizing remote workshops and interviews with subject matter experts to gather qualitative insights on pricing strategies.
Managing the project documentation repository to ensure all evidence used in our advisory reports is easily accessible and verified.
Working with the analysis team to ensure that deliverables meet our standards for clarity and financial rigor.
Monitoring project timelines to prevent delays in the execution phase of our commercial recommendations.
Helping the principals distill complex data sets into simple, direct reports that highlight where value is being lost.
What You Bring
A university degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
High proficiency in Excel, including the ability to read and understand formulas and basic financial structures.
A healthy sense of skepticism and the curiosity to ask why a number looks the way it does.
Excellent written communication skills with a preference for plain, direct language over corporate jargon.
Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote environment.
Experience with project management software or basic data visualization tools is helpful but not required.
The ability to work through P&L complexity without getting lost in the details or losing sight of the main commercial goal.
A willingness to learn our specific method of financial interrogation and assumption testing from the ground up.
Comfort working in an environment where your work is reviewed closely by senior principals.
